The target audience is a particular group of people, identified as the intended recipient of an advertisement, message or of a certain media. After much discussion my group and I have decided to target our film towards middle age men. This is because although our main character is psychotic, we believe that middle age men would be able to relate to certain aspects and traits of him. Such as relationship and obsessive nature to some extent. Our chosen genre of psychotic thriller also relates to quite a large demographic of our target audience. Lastly, middle age men would more likely understand the message of the short film, more so than if a woman would watch it.
