Representation of our film

Different representations in film include class, age, gender, etc. Our film will oppose these typical representations in the media. For example, in our short film the main victim is a man. This goes against common stereotypes as it is usually the women who are victims in the film industry. However, at the end you soon discover that the woman is primarily the victim as she has been murdered by him. Thus the roles have reversed back to normal. We are also planning to show the main male character as middle class through various locations and costume. This also challenges familiar representations because people with psychotic and obsessive disorders are associated more with working class.
